  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

  2. Whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and beer together.
    Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.

  3. Fold in chocolate chips.

  4. Pour into the pan and bake for approximately 25–30 minutes, until the edges are set and a toothpick has moist crumbs.

  5. Cool completely before slicing.
